When will I receive a debit or cash card activity alert?

The debit or cash card alert will be sent to you when a new debit or cash card is on its way to you. The alert will also be triggered when the card PIN is issued for the first time or a PIN reminder is requested.

The alert will be sent by text message to the mobile phone number that we have on our records. Dependent on network and whether your phone is on, you should receive the alert on the working day after the card or PIN is issued.

The easiest way to amend your alert preferences is in the 'Alerts' section of Anytime Internet Banking. You can also manage your alerts using telephone banking or by visiting one of our branches.

If you have received this alert and you've not requested a new card or PIN, or your card is not due to expire then please call telephone banking immediately or visit your local branch.

Do I pay for Alerts?

Text alerts are currently not available on business accounts.
