Can I activate a new debit card online?

When you need to activate your debit card you can do so online.

  1. Simply log in to your Anytime Internet Banking at www.ulsterbankanytimebanking.co.uk (opens in a new window)
  2. Select 'Cards' from the main menu
  3. From the 'Debit cards' section click on 'Activate a new debit card' and follow the on screen instructions.

If you are receiving a replacement debit card you should not need to activate it unless you are also receiving a replacement PIN. Replacement credit cards will normally already be activated for you.

If you are receiving a replacement Anytime Internet Banking card this type of card does not require activation.

You can also activate your card by calling telephony banking or by visiting a branch.
