When will I need to approve my transactions using my mobile app?

When we spot an unusual transaction on your debit or credit card, we’ll ask you to open your app and use your face ID, fingerprint or passcode to confirm your identity. Then you’ll be able to see the transaction amount and where it was made and decide whether to approve or decline it. 

If your credit card has any additional cardholders you won’t be able to use your app to approve transactions at the moment and will continue to receive a One Time passcode.

Do I need to use my face or fingerprint ID?

Enabling your biometrics - face or fingerprint ID on your phone is recommended. If you don’t wish to do this, you can use your mobile app passcode
