How does the bank use WhatsApp?

Currently, the Bank is using WhatsApp for text conversation only in two different ways. 

  1. Supporting customers with Google Pay:
    • Trying to register for Google Pay
    • Issues with Google Pay
    • Stopping Google Pay
  2. Supporting customers with new ways to raise a complaint through WhatsApp.

To start a WhatsApp with the Bank, visit our Google Pay page or our Complaints page from a mobile device and tap the button to WhatsApp us.

How secure is WhatsApp?

WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption is used when you message another person using WhatsApp Messenger. Specifically, to WhatsApp Business Messaging, every WhatsApp message is protected by the same Signal encryption protocol that secures messages before they leave your device.
