If your card-reader displays the message 'CHECK CARD' followed by the message 'REMOVE CARD', the most likely cause is an incorrectly inserted card.

Remove the card and try inserting the card again. With the chip facing you, place the chip end of the card in first.

If you get the same message you may have inserted an unsuitable card. You need to use one that matches the card number(s) shown in 'Step 1' on your Anytime Internet Banking screen.
