How do I query a Visa debit card transaction?

If you don't recognise a transaction on your Visa debit card, you should check our Merchants List (opens in a new window) to see if the retailer has a different trading name to the one you'd expect.

If you still don't recognise it, you can challenge the transaction (opens in a new window).

If you've paid for goods or services using your Visa debit card and you've not yet received them, the best place to start is by contacting the retailer. If you still can't resolve the issue yourself, we'll help you raise a claim (opens in a new window).

If you've been charged twice for something on your debit card and you've not been able to resolve it directly with the retailer, we can help you claim a refund (opens in a new window).
